Noor Al-Shams Company
The company was founded by Mr. Azad Mohammed Ahmed Al-Barzanji in 2025 to be one of the most prominent companies operating in the field of importing and exporting oil and gas. Since its inception, the company has been committed to applying the highest standards of quality and safety, while being committed to innovation in utilizing the latest technologies to develop oil fields. Nour Al-Shams plays a significant role in exporting light and heavy crude oil and gas, in addition to local black oil. This is done in coordination and approval with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil and SOMO, the body responsible for marketing oil in Iraq. The company focuses on contributing to capital investment in the field of importing and selling all petroleum products by importing petroleum derivatives according to the international specifications set by the Ministry, storing, transporting, and selling them directly for local consumption or through authorized agents.

Meeting with the Ukrainian Ambassador
Mr. Azad Mohammed Ahmed Al-Barzanji, owner of Nour Al-Shams Company, met with Mr. Ivan Duvahanich, the Ukrainian Ambassador to Iraq, in the capital, Baghdad.
Cooperation Agreement
Establishing a framework cooperation agreement between Nour Al Shams Import and Export Company and Malmö Swedish Contracting and Oil Company, managed by Mr. Haider Al Haboubi, Chairman of the Swedish-Iraqi Chamber of Commerce, and Dr. Ghaith Salim, Director of Administration and Relations for Nour Al Shams Company.
